Vlad Troitsky’s drama of absurdity. KLIM’s dramaturgy is based on Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment” and Gilbert Chesterton’s story “The Paradoxes of Mr Pond.”

The playwright KLIM decided to bring together the heroes of two writers: the brilliant Englishman Gilbert Chesterton and the creator of epic novels Fyodor Dostoevsky. The evolution of action in “Paradoxes of Crime” is segmented into blocks, each of which reveals the phenomenon of “borderline state”. The energy of thought is expressed in dialogues, which often grow into a series of voluminous monologues, reminiscent of the “stream of consciousness” of the characters. All the characters discuss the phenomenon of deliberate murder — its origins and prospects. And can murder be “for the sake of truth”?
